"The New 2UW" Rod Christopher 1969.

In 1964 2UW in Sydney, which had featured previously featured "classic" radio serials, abruptly dumps all the old serials and becomes the "NEW2UW" with 24-hour pop music presented by the "11-10 Men": Ward Austin, John Burgess, Donnie Sutherland, John Thompson, Rod Christopher, John Melonney and Greg Stewart. By the late 60's 2UW in Sydney in was THE station to listen to, top 40 format and more personalities than you could poke a stick at, Rod Christopher in the early afternoons and madcap Ward "Pally" Austin after school. A Ward Austin post is presented elsewhere on this blog, but here's about an hour of Rod Christopher in 1969. I'm unable to date this aircheck exactly, but it's a very nicely recorded hour of fun and nostalgia.
